Abstract
Tourism is an important sector in Indonesia's economy, but it is vulnerable to security disturbances, especially acts of terrorism. Acts of terrorism not only target political and physical infrastructure but also result in a decrease in the number of tourist visits, create a sense of insecurity, especially among tourists, and damage a country's tourism image. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of acts of terrorism on Indonesia's tourism image and formulate strategies to improve tourism image after acts of terrorism. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a document study method. Data was collected from various secondary sources such as books, official government reports, documents, journals, articles, and online information. The results show that acts of terrorism have a negative impact on Indonesia's tourism image, which can lead to a decrease in the number of tourist arrivals and tourism revenue. Strategies that can be done to improve the image of tourism after acts of terrorism include strengthening security, improving intelligence, marketing, and international cooperation.
