1. Revenue Sources Policy

Jurnal Pertahanan dan Bela Negara is an open-access academic journal fully supported and funded by Universitas Pertahanan Republik Indonesia through the Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM).

• No Author Fees: The journal does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC), submission fees, or publication fees to authors.
• Institutional Funding: All financial and operational costs—including web hosting, digital preservation, DOI registration, software infrastructure, typesetting, and administrative management—are fully covered by the institutional publisher.
• Editorial Independence: Financial support from the host institution does not influence editorial decisions. All peer-review evaluations and editorial judgments are made independently based strictly on academic quality, research integrity, and scholarly relevance.

2. Advertising Policy

Jurnal Pertahanan dan Bela Negara maintains a strict No Advertising policy across all its publishing platforms.

• No Commercial Ads: The journal website, online issues, and PDF full-text articles do not accept, host, or display commercial advertisements, promotional banners, or sponsored content.
• Editorial Integrity: Eliminating commercial advertising ensures that editorial content remains entirely objective, unbiased, and free from commercial pressure or conflicts of interest.

3. Direct Marketing Policy

All marketing and promotional activities for Jurnal Pertahanan dan Bela Negara are conducted in accordance with ethical publishing practices and privacy standards.

• Targeted and Relevant Communication: Call for Papers (CFP), announcements, and editorial updates are directed exclusively to researchers, academics, defense analysts, and practitioners within relevant fields of study.
• Truthful and Non-Deceptive Information: All promotional communications accurately represent the journal’s scope, indexing status, editorial board, peer-review process, and publisher affiliation without misleading claims.
• Unsolicited Communication: The journal avoids intrusive or aggressive direct marketing tactics. Electronic communications strictly comply with anti-spam standards, and recipients can opt out or unsubscribe from journal announcements at any time.
