Ownership (Kepemilikan)

Jurnal Pertahanan dan Bela Negara is legally owned by Indonesia Defense University.

As the institutional owner, Indonesia Defense University provides foundational, legal, and operational infrastructure to support the journal's scholarly mission. The owner is committed to fostering academic integrity, scientific development, and national resilience through rigorous research dissemination.

Management & Publisher

The journal is published and managed by the Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM), Universitas Pertahanan Republik Indonesia.

LPPM is responsible for:

  • Managing the technical journal infrastructure and the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

  • Overseeing production services, including typesetting, DOI assignment, and digital preservation.

  • Ensuring compliance with international scholarly publishing standards and publication ethics.

Governance & Editorial Independence

In accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines:

  • Editorial Autonomy: The institutional owner and LPPM provide administrative and operational support but do not interfere with or influence individual editorial decisions.

  • Decision Authority: All decisions regarding manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection are under the sole authority of the Editor-in-Chief and the designated handling editors, based strictly on peer review evaluations and scholarly merit.

  • Separation of Interests: Institutional ownership and LPPM management do not confer preferential editorial treatment or bypass standard double-anonymous peer review workflows.
