Policy Overview

Jurnal Pertahanan dan Bela Negara accepts the following types of scholarly manuscripts that align with the journal's focus and scope in defense management, military strategy, state defense (Bela Negara), and national security studies. All submissions must demonstrate academic quality, originality, and a clear contribution to the relevant field.

Types of Accepted Manuscripts

1. Research Article: A Research Article reports original empirical, qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods research conducted by the authors. It should present a clear research problem, objectives, appropriate methodology, findings, theoretical discussion, and policy implications. The manuscript must be supported by relevant data and scholarly references, demonstrating a meaningful contribution to national defense policy, security studies, or state defense framework.
2. Review Article: A Review Article critically examines and synthesizes previously published research, policy frameworks, or strategic literature on a specific topic relevant to the journal's scope. It should provide a clear systematic review approach, a coherent synthesis of existing knowledge, and a critical evaluation of strategic trends, research gaps, or future directions in defense management and national resilience.
