Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The manuscript is required to be submitted electronically. To satisfy Jurnal Pertahanan dan Bela Negara's requirements, every manuscript must be prepared using Microsoft word software. The most recent version of word available to you is preferred. Candara font is to be used throughout the paper.
- The general layout of all pages is identical and it is straightforward to establish using the “page setup” feature in WORD. Dimensions and other layout information are defined in centimeters. The following page dimensions are defined here for an ordinary paper on A4 paper (size 210 x 297 mm). Margins are set using “Page Setup” in the “File” pull-down menu. In the “Multiple pages” list, select “Mirror margins”.
- The top margin is 2.5 cm.
- The bottom margin is 2.5 cm.
- The outside margin is 2.5 cm.
- The inside margin is 2.5 cm.
Title lines the 14 pt font (single spacing). Capitalize the first letter of each word (excluding articles, prepositions, and conjunctions. The title is limited to a maximum of two lines. It should include a concise, specific, relevant, and informative title (avoid abbreviations in the title). Please indicate the full name of the author(s) clearly. Present the author's affiliation below the names. Provide the full address of each affiliation, including the country name, correct e-mail address, and telephone number of each author. Please clearly indicate who (corresponding author) is willing to handle correspondence at all stages of peer review and publication.
The body of all abstracts including keywords in the abstract should be Candara 11pt. The maximum length of the abstract should not exceed 300 words. Keywords should be 3-5 mentioned in italic. Each keyword should be capitalized and a separate line as mentioned in the template of the abstract.
Body of all text after abstract including headings and sub-headings in the article should follow Candara 12pt with 1.5 spacing and justified on both sides. There should be a 1.5 line space after paragraph and section heading. There should be 1.5 line space after the heading or sub-heading as shown in the template. The heading and sub-headings should be bold, capitalized for each word as sampled above.
All tables and figures should be mentioned within the body of the article and numbered. The figures should be colorful and in the .gif or .jpg format. There should be one line spacing before and after the figure/table in the body of the text.
Citations in this manuscript using APA style. References in manuscript sequentially in alphabetical order.
Papers should not exceed 20 pages in length. This includes the references page.
The paper should be professionally proofread and free of grammatical errors.
